We occasionally get an SMS with 0 `billable_units` if the `delivery-sender-worker`
is stopped in the middle of processing a notification - we have to fix
these manually. This change checks the billable units when we get the response from
our SMS provider and sets the correct billable units if it's 0.
- Updated notifications_dao.update_notification_status_by_id with an optional parameter to set the sent_by, this will eliminate a separate update to notifcaitons.
- Added the callback url to the log message, that way we can see if it's the same url failing.
- Stop sending the status callbacks for PENDING status.
Which means the sent_at date for the notification could be empty causing the service callback to fail.
- Allow code to work if notification.sent_at or updated_at is None
- Update calls to send_delivery_status_to_service to send the data encrypted so that the task does not need to use the db.
The JobStatistics table is going to be deleted. There are currently
3 tasks which use the JobStatistics model via the Statistics DAO, so we
need to make sure that these tasks aren't being used before they are
deleted in a separate PR.
This commit deletes:
* The `create_initial_notification_statistic_tasks` function which gets
used to call the `record_initial_job_statistics` task.
* The `create_outcome_notification_statistic_tasks` function which gets
used to call the `record_outcome_job_statistics` task.
* And the scheduling of the `timeout-job-statistics` scheduled task.
- If the SMS client sends a status code that we do not recognize raise a ClientException and set the notification status to technical-failure
- Simplified the code in process_client_response, using a simple map.
- check if service_callback_api exist before putting tasks on queue
- create_service_callback_api in tests before asserting if send_delivery_status_to_service has been called.
There are three authentication methods:
- requires_no_auth - public endpoint that does not require an Authorisation header
- requires_auth - public endpoints that need an API key in the Authorisation header
- requires_admin_auth - private endpoint that requires an Authorisation header which contains the API key for the defined as the client admin user
- As before this is now driven from the notifications history table
- Removed from updates and create
- Signatures changes to removed unused params hits many files
- Also potential issue around rate limiting - we used to get the number sent per day from the stats table - which was a single row lookup, now we have to count this. This applies to EVERY API CALL. Probably not a good thing and should be addressed urgently.
Refactor process_firetext_responses
Removed the abstract ClientResponses for firetext and mmg. There is a map for each response to handle the status codes sent by each client.
Since MMG has about 20 different status code, none of which seem to be a pending state (unlike firetext that has 3 status one for pending - network delay).
For MMG status codes, look for 00 as successful, everything else is assumed to be a failure.
